About the Fred Astaire Dance Studio

Fred Astaire Dance Studios is a franchised company that has been in existence since 1947. Our studio was opened in January of 1995.

The vision and goal of Fred Astaire Dance Studios of Charleston is to maintain an atmosphere of fun and relaxation while providing the highest level of dance instruction to our students. We want to inspire our students to be the best dancers they can be, and to create lifelong lovers of dance. To encourage teamwork and a feeling of togetherness among our staff and students so that the experience of learning how to dance is as positive as it can be. We also foster a competitive spirit throughout our studio, enabling students and staff to take their dancing to the highest levels of excellence, helping people of all ages find their feet on the dance floor.
